GreetinZ for a better tomorrow

I left chatting – the day I forgot my Mom’s birthday.

We do check our hotmail, yahoomail and rediffmail daily. We do chat hours on the net without even realizing the difference it would make to our tomorrow. A simple visit to any cyber café would reveal that 90% of the strength is busy chatting. Msn and yahoo messenger are the most heavily used soft wares in the cyber cafes. And why not? They provide instant economical happiness. That can be termed as “electronic happiness”. This happiness falls short of any value addition to our lives. It is so transient that it evaporates the instant we get away from the net. Basically the ignition behind this “electronic happiness” is a selfish motive – A motive that drives us to share our happiness with none other than the person on the other end. Had we devoted this  non-reasonable amount of time to our family and friends, more people would have got benefited from it.

No doubt Internet has revolutionized our present but its up to us to make use of it. Surfing is not limited to emailing or chatting. It is about exploring the unknown – moving in a pool of abundant information, selecting and making the best possible use of it to make our lives better. If one is aware then there are some fabulous articles and deals at rediff.com, baazee.com, indiatimes.com, fabmart.com, msnindia.com etc. They have redefined Indian shopping on the net. And one upcoming noticeable concept is that of sending paper greetings via Internet. GreetinZ.com allows us to choose paper greetings from an assorted range of fine greetings for almost all events. Surprisingly, it allows a user to pay in the easiest possible modes – cash, cheque or draft.

This would mean never having to say belated again in our lives. Our greetings reach in- time to our loved ones since we have booked them in advance. And it is easier to resend greetings for next year because it just takes single click. Convenience is plenty because one doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel – this is the power of Internet.

Internet has hidden miracles, but they are to be explored. One needs to come out of emailing and chatting only to explore the net. If we make a point to visit one new site daily we would be 365 sites more knowledgeable at the end of year!
