I m ORANGE subscriber for last three years and has faced all sort of problems, a subscriber can face from any service provider. it includes ILLEGAL DISCONNECTION, RECOVERY AGENTS (inspite of timely payment of bills) for which I have filed a case in CONSUMER FORUM which is pending for last two years again thanx to the advocate of ORANGE, who never attend or reply to complaints.
i also faced the problems with their PAYMENT REMINDERS CALLS during July 2002 for payment of bill dated June 7, 2002. the bill was paid on time and debited to my bank account before the due date of the bill. the payment reminder calls continued, inspite of written apology from senior customer service executive and written confirmation of timely payment of the bill. I charged ORANGE compensation of Rs. 1000/- for irritating payment reminders calls and deducted this amount from their bills. I could get this credit after talking to more than seven customer service executives.
Recently, I m facing the problem of INFLATED BILLS. out of last 12 bills there was mistake in 9 bills and was rectified and amount was credited in next bills. for last four months I m again getting inflated bills, I have spoken to over a dozen customer service executives in ORANGE. This time they have crossed all the limits, I informed them about inflated bills and three mistakes in last four bills on November 3, 2002 and till december 27, 2002 no action was taken on my complaint. I got a confirmation of rectification of one mistake on December 28, 2002, about rectification of other two errors I have to pray GOD for that.
i think it is hight time that ORANGE shall change its name to BLACK
