Hey ppl
Let me tell u something abt this movie page 3...the title sounds like a cheap movie naa.....but wait thats not all the cast is also chepo type....
But after seeing the movie I was simply stunned......what to say...I was forced to think that even bollywood ppl hav some brains and sheer guts to make a honest and original concept film........After seeing the movie I was totally in favour of its cast....the concept is so strong that cast is not important.....
The story is not based on a love story, horror or drama..its life & world from point of view of a honest reporter konkana ..who exposes ppl for their bads.....but whats the reward..well as everyone else she is put into writin for page 3...U might ask what in hell is page 3..page is a name derived from the fact that all movie gossip and stuff used to be on page 3 of newspapers..thats why that stuff is called page 3..Its a world of glamour where ppl are not what they appear.....some like it some dont still they live in it to make realise their dreams at any cost........
The movie shows the life of ppl on big screen, indusralists , politicians..and the system in all.......The reporter goes through many ups and downs like her bf turns gay......he actually uses her to get his modelling projects...she meets a gurls who came to mumbai to become a actress but refuses to sleep with her director to get a role in movie....
But as konkana exposes a business tycoon who des child molestation...she is fired...yes fired...also turs out that her friend finally slept with the director a grumpy old man for the lead role.....then she concludes my making a statement saying that we all dream and we should compromise on things to get our dreams..& so she is also forced to do so.......
The movie covers complicated issues many in fact..it also focusses on ppl who have the power of pen but are hold back on power of sword or money..like reporters etc....really well made...some adult matter so wouldnt suggest for below 18.....
A song by lata mangeshkar ’’Kitne ageeb rishte hai yaaha pe ’’..the song says the theem of the movie..translated....’’What a strange kind of world is this ?????????’’...although budget is an issue an reflects in the camera and cast but hey I am not complaining......the work is too good
A must watch for all.......................specially mumbians.............
