Just follow the information completely to avoid being told to come again.

• Visit Website [https://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/procFormSubOnl] & Register
• Submit your details carefully
• Pay through bank/debit/credit card
• Subscribe to SMS updates, by paying Rs.30 at passport office. They will inform you on every status like file passed on to your nearest police for verification.
• Print Application Receipt which includes ARN no, along with appointment date & time and ensure you reach an hour before time.
Visit the nearest Passport Seva Kendra and make sure to carry all photo copies and originals along with photos
Ensure that the supporting original documents exactly matches the details provided by you in the passport application.
In case of any issues the next date usually takes a month’s time

Documents required
• 2 photos
• Copy of Aadhar card* / PAN card* / Voter ID / Driving license(Min 1 but take 2 with preference to*)
• Copy of Bank pass book(Front)
• Copy of Electricity / BSNL or MTNL bill(Any 1)
• Copy of Society Letter / Property Tax* / Property Agreement / Property Maintenance Receipt(Min 1 but take 2 with preference to)
• Copy of Marriage Certificate for Ladies
• Nomination to prove you are a resident(e.g. Neighbour) with self attested copy of their Aadhar card* / PAN card
• Copy of Old passport(in case of Renewal)
Carry all originals in case may be required
Timings of police verification: 11 to 1:30 and 4 to 5:30
Confirm your name in the list
Verify the details in the form(Post form submission, you will have a round of interview and that’s it)
