For a long time there was coffee house on MG road, tiffany’s at lavelle, the only place in so many places - when it came to beer - I guess only Pecos remains.
Starting off as a Mexican food joint, I guess it has come a long way. Drank here for the first time in II PUC(circa’91). This is the place for good music and food. Tucked away on one of Brigade road crosses, it is conveniently located. Take a rick to reach the place and leave by a rick. driving the car and finding a place to park nearby is hell. Being a student was the best part. one could reach by bike - throw it outside the pub. grab couple of mugs and run away into the night.
It is a good place for beer and kerala cuisine.
Dont expect great interiors - Music is what makes the ambience pure classic rock. For a longtime they only played tape music. One of the fews to do that.
Small places and cozy corners is what you will find in the place. enables conversations with rock legends on the wall watching you drink.
Food is decent - you have decent options in Kerala food some continental/italian food.
Not expensive at all.
If you have been in Bangalore(bengaluru) for sometime - this place is a must visit.
I dont think they sell hard liquor. Thought that’s what pubs are made for.
