Hey ppl
Long since I babbled something here well first sorry ppl my pc wasnt workin (really I swear !!!!!!!!!!).......ok so I was not able to sleep last night (how could I as I was asleep the whole day !!!!!!!) when I was surfing the channel I came across this movie on star gold raj kapoor black & white so I saw it till 5 in morning.Anyway the movie was awsome.......actually franckly speaking it was a masterpiece considering the conditiond of bollywood back then.
Ppl I am serious when I say that raj kapoor is a mastero !!!!!!!!!!! no shahruk khan can stand in front of him.........the acting the complication yet ease of performance has always been his style.....
Something abt the movie :
The movie though old is ideal for ppl like me and many other like me hav developed a general negative attitude a sense of frustration due to the ’’system’’ (donno who gave this iconic name but its rocking !!!!!!!) the poverty loss of humanity no 1 cares for moral values etc etc...
There is this poor but happy go lucky good and great hearted guy ram who comes to mumbai for higher studies.he relies on his mothers money order for fees but due to weak financial conditions she cant send him money anymore so he is left on his own ....... although his close friend is always supporting him in all ways possible..then one day a pretty but poor gurl sohni comes in his life and his spirits go high but ........there are numerable twists in the movie.....the well of poverty makes ram a murderer !!!!!!! he goes through many troubles but never loses hope ..........but at moments he loses his faith in god in everything and all ..........(I know this is complicated mann)after seeing this flick one feels that its better to fight and die rather than leaving the battle in half........
The most memorable thing in the movie except the revolutionary ideas is the song sequences amazing simply amazing the songs are from heart.......most memorable is ’’who subuha kabhi to aayegi ’’ translated ’’sun will surely someday rise’’......the movie targets the mumbai conditions back then poverty unemployment and social harassment is clearly projected.....what happens when the hero who cannot lie confesses his crime..to know watch the flick !!!!!!!!!!
I cannot really explain the complicated subject thats projected on the other hand the mastero paj kapoor handles the role so easily that it feels like a piece of cake........camera angles background music of mukesh is simply stunning........u can call it a classic !!!!!!!!!!
Al though I found the movie very intresting but many of u (who may not even have heard abt this flick) may find the subject to be very complicated (man I must have used this word so many times !!!!!!!!but thats what it is!!!!) I wouldnt recommend it to someone who wants a typical bollywood masala but a must watch for raj kapoor fans and those who understand his creations......
