All about chasing the numbers.

Now a days cue games are in fashion & have obsessed many Indians, with their demanding & strategic nature. One may frequently say that his/her fav. Game is Pool, whether he/she knows to play or not is another thing. Such is the effect of Pool on Indian Youth.

If you play any of the cue games then, can bet that 9-ball will be the easiest for you. This is a very simple, easy, fast, game, which can be learnt easily than any other cue game. 9-ball is not about occupying the table but potting the 9 ball.

The table of 9-ball & 8-ball is almost same except the fact that the pockets of a 9-ball table have more wide cuts, which enables most balls to get in.

The differences of 9-ball with Snooker & Billiard are great. This game is not that demanding & luck plays a more vital role in 9-ball.

There is least amount of balls in 9-ball than 8-ball. The balls are identified according to their colour or number (mostly numbers). The balls, which are present on the table, are from the number 1 to 9. The basic rule is to pot balls in sequence, from 1 to 9 & the player who pots the 9 ball wins.

The rack of 9-ball is in a diamond shape & only two things are to be kept in mind while rackingFirstBall no.1 is in front of the diamond & SecondThe queen or the ball no. 9 is in the center. The player who breaks must make a ball to continue shooting & if he makes the 9 ball in his break he wins! By this method the players shall shoot the smaller ball on the table first & then reach the 9-ball. If a player pots the 9-ball directly (non-canon), he loses!

Another cunning rule is that if player is in turn to hit Ball 3 & he makes Ball 9 after hitting Ball 3, he wins!

So, the game is real simple & fun to play not like some other games, which demand too much out of an ordinary human. 9-Ball plays at a high speed & the opponent do not feel left out of the game at any given moment. While playing you cannot afford to relax, you have to be on your toes and preparing for the next ball. The fact I love about this game is while playing a ball you have to keep your one eye on the next ball & this continues until you pot the 9

But as usual the Game has some negatives too, though it is easy to learn but 9-ball can break your heart many a times??.like when you pot balls 1 to 8 and miss 9 to give a easy victory to your opponent.

The game is quite a sprint, but you have to pay the same amount as 8-ball, when you play for each frame. In that case booking the table is a much better option.

So for all those people who haven?t tried this amazing adventure with a cue, Plz. Do give it a chance & for those who play 9-ball Happy Cuing.
