It took me a split second to decide when choosing between Dhoom and Popcorn Khao....and I am still repenting my decision. The title, the promos on TV etc made me go for this movie....and what a waste of time and effort it turned out to be.
Usually I am not into movie reviews, but I had made it a point by interval that I would warn all my fellow Mouthshut members as soon as possible.
I am not sure I would be able to write a very detailed review...but here are my comments in short.
The plot of the movie is a straight take from ’’Jo Jeeta wahi Sikandar’ and ’’Raju ban gaya gentleman’. Both these stories have been mixed...and in a real hopeless way.
The actors of the movie ’Tanisha, Akshay Kapoor, Rashmi Nigam, Yash Tonk, Deepak Tijori’ all have over acted. Just imagine the plight of the hapless viewer, when the best actor in the movie has been Yash Tonk...
The director might have thought that some PJs can pull the movie....but this movie has been a total waste. Tried to make it slick....but ended up as SICK.
By interval, the people in the theatre had started yelling ’Paise wapas do’ and it was pure entertainment from then on....everyone was passing comments on the movie. That was only good point in the movie. It might be harsh...but let me tell you abt a comment.....in the last scene....the hero of the film in an emotional scene tells
Tanisha that he was scared to admit his love....and a LOUD comment came..’’Abe chup...bandar bhi kisi se darte hain’’ ...that should sum it all.
The only good point of the movie are a couple of songs...but one can safely avoid the movie...and watch these two songs at home.
I cant write more....but I hope ppl get my message....please avoid the movie..else you will walk out totally frustated.
