Worst experience of buying a new Car from Pratham

8th November I bought  a new Celerio VXI through Pratham motors .I booked this in the 7th month and got it in 11th month .This is not because of the huge booking time .They are not allotting the car as per the booking order .When I inquired about this, they told me that, they tried to reach me on phone, since I did not picked the call, car is allotted to someone .They might have tried SMS, EMail etc before doing it .


At the time of booking they have mentioned some free accessories in the booking docket .At the time of delivery they charged for all "free" accessories .Without asking me they decided the accessories  I need and charged for this .They told me that number plate comes as basic accessories, and they will take it out, if I don’t like pay for basic  accessories. Without asking me they charged me for some club card which I did not take .


Delivery time was mentioned as 11 AM .I got the car at around 2pm. They did not properly planned for delivery .


At the time of booking executive told me that price hike will not effect me .But they charged higher price .When  inquired about this, they said, the executive left the company .


I asked for insurance from New India Assurance, but given from some other company .I am not able to see transparency in any of the dealings .Totally disappointed .This issue is not resolved, but I can see that, it is marked resolved .They paid the club card charges back, as I mentioned I did not take this card .


After all they keep calling me for services and insurance .


Several times I asked them not to call, even then, they call me, even today they called Jan 27th .Please please remove me from your Database .


Actually I escalated this issue to Maruthi Suziki too .


They asked Pratham to give a new insurance from the company I requested .Finally I got that .But  Pratham  never compensated the loss I met because of delayed delivery .I feel that, they are selling the car with some margins on cost of people who booked in advance .


This issue is not resolved and not a happy ending, but I see they changed the status.
