I will strongly suggest you all not to buy any pureit product .

I had bought this Marvella 4-5 month back. I was quite happy with the quality of purified water and was recommending the same to all who visit my home.
All of a sudden 4 days back, water started leaking and not a single drop was getting available in storage tank. I called the guy (nice guy, I have no complains) who had installed this purifier and understood from him that, its time to change the battery.
I requested him to come and change the battery immediately as I have no other source of drinking water. He told me, as a procedure I have to contact Pureit Help line number 18601801000 and book the battery. Immediately I called the Help line number, registered myself with mobile number & address.
The customer care person (very polite & well mannered) told me that the charge of battery is Rs. 650/- + Rs.30/- (extra for conveyance) + Installation charges. Inspite of my repeated requests to disclose the amount of installation charges, he was not able give me, at last as I had no other options, so I booked the battery.
He gave me assurance that the battery will be changed within 24hrs. They sent me my registration number 1930100923 & request ID through SMS. I was happy with this and was ready to use Mineral water for one day.
Then the real agony starts. The next day somebody called me, confirmed my address and promised to come by evening. I cancelled all my plans and waited for him in the evening but nobody turned up.
I called back the landline number from which I had received the call in the morning. I didnt get any satisfactory answer. So I called Pureit Helpline number once more.
The customer care person tracked my earlier request and assured me that I will get battery replaced by 8:00 pm. I received an SMS requesting me to send sms if I do not receive the kit. I ordered one bigger bottle of Mineral water as earlier was consumed and waited for Battery. Past 8:00 pm still no batter, no calls.
I kept quite sent the SMS that I have not yet received the kit. Next day I conveyed my agony to help line number who forwarded my complaint to a senior manager and assured me that I will get my battery today. Then the same SMS & reply sms continued.
Yesterday I called helpline number (the number is not Toll free you have to pay for it) and this time I didn’t hear that the battery will be delivered Today, instead they said, we can’t say anything when it will be delivered. This showed the true colour of service.
Except politeness & well mannerism nothing the customer support people do. They only listen to you, give false assurances, send many SMSs, ask you to reply that’s it. Today is the 5th day I am still using Mineral water.
Earlier I had a Aquaguard, which gave decent purified water, water flow was good, didnt stop working even if candle was exhausted (OK it is a bit unsafe, but we can change in advance).
But this Pureit do not work at all, if you do not pay for Battery and wait, I don’t know how many days. Water flow is also very slow, you have to wait long to fill a glass (if not stored).
I will wait for 2-3 days more to get my battery changed otherwise I will just throw this useless pureit (leaking) and purchase a simple Aquagurd. I have already spend much on Mineral water, phone calls & SMS which total costs more that Battery value.
Overall I liked Pureit as a product but I just hate the supply chain of their Battery, pathetic.

You would be thinking I am still using not so marvelous product, but unfortunately Yes, cant help, no resale value, so have to live with it.
Well my second encounter with Battery kit was worse than the earlier. This time I ordered well in advance (considering past experience). I had booked through help line number and waited for a week, then another week, one more week, nothing happened.
I took the courage to speak to customer care executive then started the real trauma, instead of listening to me they keep on doing their routine irritating things like, confirm tel no, flat no, area, pin code, etc not once but through out the conversation. He will say sorry for inconvenience after each sentence, this is ridiculous. Example: " Sir am I talking to Jeeteshh Raathoode?"
I will say Yes , then he will say " sorry for the inconvenience, are you calling from your registered mobile no?" I will say Yes , then he will say " sorry for the inconvenience, are you from Pune?......"
Come on I am calling from a registered mobile for a complain and 95% of my conversation is wasted listening to their crap verification and excuses. Only for registering my complain that my ordered is not yet executed he took 10 mins.
This is not the end, again a week passed no calls nothing. By this time the battery life indicator was total (white/red I dont remember) exhausted. Fearing that, again it might start leaking any time, I called 24x7 help line number.
This time I made it sure that no cr@p talking only to the point, I stooped the executive from wasting time and forced him/her to deliver the kit or I am going to throw it away on road.
This time the executive promised, it will be delivered within 2 days as they have raised the issue with higher up. Finally the kit was delivered after 5-6 days, which again spared me from throwing this crap away.
After a week got a call from Bangalore, inquiring am I happy with Pureit? She said, if you are unhappy, then you can any time call 24x7 help line number. Ha ha ha....
Adding this after ordering 3rd battery (Oct11).
This is the last time I will be editing my review. I am very very very upset and angry with the service these pureit team have given to me.
My Diwali Holidays are spoiled, I have to beg for water from neighbor, I am continuously chasing for battery change but getting 3rd class response.
Some technician(Idiots) had called me and informed that you have purchased a failed product. I will strongly suggest you all not to buy any pureit product. There is no change in service level at all.
You can read problems I have faced earlier, it has just replicated this time. I am planning spread this as awareness to all of whom I know. I had earlier given it 4 star now I should give it no star, doesnt deserve even 1.
