I went to PVR gold class to see the movie Quantum of Solace. Went into Gold Class for the first time, because frankly it costs 600 bucks a tic and that was more than what I was willing to spend. But finally decided had to try it out once and went there after all the making and changing of my mind. Now in retrospect I feel I should have gone to see some Hindi movie there, as the movie would have been longer and therefore I would have been able to enjoy the theatre comforts for a longer time : ), and with this recession talk going about, I dont think I will be going there again for a while.
Now the chair and seating is damn good no doubt. I like the fact that they provide pillows and blankets, but I am not sure I wanted to use them because I remember reading somewhere that you can catch fungal infections in the head from using other people pillows. However the main grouse would be the food. Now I understand why they do not allow people to bring outside food, because they do make profits on the sale of food in the auditorium, but can they not provide better and more quality stuff. The food there is absolutely lousy. the service is good, the staff courteous, but you need to eat, especially in the dinner show and the food needs to therefore really improve a lot.
Otherwise a good experience as I have said in my heading and if you can afford it, I I would recommend experiencing it atleast once.
