Radio Mirchi, 93.9 FM, thats what it plays on in Pune. Well Pune is still getting hot and copying its elder sister Mumbai as far as Entertainment is concerned. Radio Mirchi happened to Pune, just when Young Punekars wanted some spice in their lives..and thats what Mirchi is all about....its a type casted Fm channel which only the Young people like to listen to! For the serious radio Listeners, evergreen Vividhbharati is the ultimate solution. I was listening to Radio Mirchi earlier as I found it good, but later on it started getting so boring and very childish. All the RJs talk only about girlfriends-boyfriends and all the calls received (rather aired) by them only speak about foolish teenage infatuations and attractions. One can easily make out what the next song is going to be....its so predicatable.
I think its time that Radio City invades Pune and gives some serious competition to Mirchi ...as we are fed up of the KHO KHO and are fed up of listening to the ’’AGA BAEEEE’’ stuff !
