Whenever it rains I think of Rain Man

I bought this on DVD because it was on special and my mum was always saying she wanted me to see it.

Charlie Babitt, Tom Cruise, is a guy who only cares for himself and making money. When his father dies he is outraged to find out that he only gets his car and the rosebushes when he has a 3 million dollar estate. He finds out that his dad has left the majority of his estate to his older brother, Dustin Hoffman. The brother Charlie dosen’t know about. Dustin’s character is autistic. This means he can’t function as a normal person, he is smart and can do amazing thing like counting how many matches drop onto the floor, be it hundreds, in seconds. But he has rituals and the same schedule he must stick to every day, and it is harder for him to understand things. Charlie grows to like Raymond and dosen’t want him to go back to the mental institution.

This is a truly beautiful movie. Tom Cruise does an excellent job at his uncaring character, and Dustin is good no matter who he portrays.

I could watch this movie thousands of times and still find it enjoyable.

It is more of a chick flick, but guys don’t let that hold you back because I’m sure you’d love it to.
