Rasoi Magic Ready To Cook Masala
Lol!! Before there’s a call for The Witch Hunt, let me clarify. I’m a Sorceress, alright but, only in my Kitchen and I lovingly call my Magic Wand as “Rasoi Magic”.
For all my overseas friends, let me introduce U to the hindi word “Rasoi”. Rasoi is short for Rasoighar which means Kitchen. And it’s in this Kitchen that we got to conjure up some delicacies not just for the sake of survival but, also for a treat for those taste buds!
How I learnt the Trick:
Being from the typical South Indian family that I am from, in the past couple of years every get-together or a wedding reception or even a family visit saw me being showcased around like a Trophy up for grabs!! Of course, the first & foremost question would be, “Does she know how to cook?” Lol! I sure had fun answering those questions under my breath but, my mom was hysterical. She knew I could cook coz I’ve learnt it all from her but, she couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t! Well, the answer was simple. I was bored of cooking traditional meals using the traditional ways! It was during such a time when I picked up one of the packets just because I had liked the name “Rasoi Magic”. Anything magic?? I’m all ears!! :D
Thus began my stints in the Kitchen with my Magic Wand. Well, my family was complaining in the least and I was overjoyed at discovering yet another passion!
What’s Best about this product:
It is very simple to cook up a dish using the pack and anyone who’s average with the ladle could dish out some exotic traditional dishes with minimum effort & maximum aftereffects (read compliments)
It offers a flexibility to experiment (which is a boon for Devils ;) like me)
p.s.: Here’s a tip…try substituting ur usual Garam Masala with same amount of Kolhapuri Gravy Masala. I’ve always been impressed by the effect!
Most dishes are ready in not more than 15 minutes & they qualify as utterly delicious.
The ingredients required (usually oil , vegetables, tomato Puree) other than the packet of Rasoi Magic Ready to cook Masala for your chosen dish is minimum and easily available at an arm’s length.
It’s a dry product. So, store it in ambient temperatures in airtight containers.
Usually one pack can serve 4-5 persons. So, ideal for a nuclear family too. Otherwise you could always vary the quantity depending on ur needs. Storing will never be a problem due to it’s long shelf life.
Makes cooking loads of fun!…That’s my personal opinion

RANGE OF PRODUCTS(Masala):
Each pack of approx. 35-45 gms is good enough for 4-5 servings (no matter what they say on the cover). The various variety of dishes available are:
Makhanwala (I swear by this one! It’s the Best!! Especially made with Paneer. But, like I said…there’s always room for experimentations.)
Korma
Kolhapuri(Second Best. However, if u’re wary of the spicy just watch out before u empty the pack into the Kadai (or vessel for cooking))
Chana
Dum Alu(I didn’t think much of this one coz I’ve tasted better!)
Jain(Specially for the people following Jainism (adherent of an Indian Religion) where they avoid onion, garlic, and many more ingredients))
Punjabi
Konkani
Maharashtrian
Shahi
Biryani
Tikka(A mix & match between Tikka & Makhanwala also creates a nice delicacy, different but delicious)
Dal Makhani
Bombay Pav Bhaji Sabji(Although this isn’t as good as the Pav Bhaji that one can make using a few other Pav Bhaji Masalas, it is still worth a try. I wouldn’t call it Pav Bhaji Sabji but, it’s a sabji good enough nevertheless)
Jain Korma Sabji
Garnish
Cooking the dish is not enough. Any food has to follow the following sequence: Catch the nose, please the eyes & lure the taste buds…and the rest is history!
So, u had better garnish that dish according to the instructions or suggestions provided at the back of the pack or then, let those creative juices flow!!
Good Luck, Conjuror!! ; )
