When I first started writing a few days ago, one of the members sent me an e-mail and explained some of the things I should do.
She said to read as many reviews as I could and try to leave a comment so that people would know I am here.
I do read a few every day. I get my notices of who has read mine and I start from there and read something by each one of them. Sometimes I read several by the same person.
If I have a comment to make then I will leave one. Not so much as to let people know that I am here but to let them know that I found what they wrote useful. I know I have all ready learned that there are many, many good writers on here and I only wish I had time to read more. Sometimes I dont know the product or havent heard of what is being written about but I still find it interesting to read and to learn.
At first when I started rating I was wondering what to do. I seen some that had been rated high by everyone and although I thought it was well written I thought also that it could have had a bit more detail so I gave it the next rating down.
I have to rate the way I feel is fair and what I think and will continue to do so. Some have rated me lower than what I thought it should be but then that is their opinion and I respect that. I do not revenge rate. I still rate theirs the way I honestly feel it should be rated. I have yet to see any articles that are below useful.
I do not check for grammar, or spelling or let that influence the way I rate. If the article tells me everything I need to know about something, to me that is what counts. The length does not matter. Some can say a lot in less words than others.
The ratings on my articles show me where I need to improve and also what I may be doing to make the review better. So it doesnt bother me if I get a lower rating, that just means that those that are more experienced than I feel I could have written it better.
I do take the time to read every bit of the review and give it my honest rating and will continue to do so.
