Redbus in name itself contains RED - don’t book or be cautious before you book.
They designed such nice booking app so that they can double sell the same seats.
Just to share my experience with my first(going to be last) experience with Redbus. I booked ticket from Vijayawada to Hyderabad on Greenline Logisticts through Redbus not 1 but 5 tickets for family members.
It seems they tied with crooked vendors who will double sell the same seats to others for higher price depending upon demand.
Just few minutes before boarding they will call you and let you know that bus is cancelled and they will refund money in 5 days(but actually you won’t get your money back ever). You lost your money. When you call the Redbus they will inform that bus never cancelled and we can’t refund your money.
What you won’t get
-> No bus seat for what you booked
-> No Refund of your hard earned money
Regarding RedBus Support
-> They will tell SLA as 24 hours to rever back but they won’t come back
-> They do false promising they will address the issue but they wont
-> No esclation process
-> No customer grievance cell
-> During the call they will disconnect and you need to start with scratch explain the issue every time.
Unfortunately I lost my money and it was BIG Regret I booked my tickets in REDBUS & GREENLINE LOGISTICTS. Both follow fradulaent practices and don’t have any fair pracitices.
My intention to put this note is to make sure others don’t do same mistake by booking tickets in REDBUS.
