I feel that choosing Reliance is the worst thing I have ever done. I was attracted by the plans and adds in which they have promised high speed internet with low cost but Reliance have failed to keep up the promise as ever. I used to travel between Trichy and Chennai.. ill stay in Trichy mostly were there is only 1x network the connection speed is only 256kbps, my Airtel mobile connects internet faster than that speed but the agent dint even mention a word about the non availability of HSD network in Trichy. There I got cheated at the very first move. Then comes this crazy billing system when I was in monthly 499 plan (night 10 GB per month) I used to get bill around 1500 every month saying that I use it in the morning.
I know I don use it in the morning, anyway I paid the bill, further there is no way u could track your usage. They will ask you to copy down the usage details from net paste it in a excel seat short it form day n night add the data used, divide it by 1024 and again divide it by 1024. I am not kidding the rel agent himself said that just call the rel customer care n ask if you have doubt. Its just complex as hell even for a well educated people.. the idea is that the user should never know their usage. The next month I was careful not to make any mistakes ill check the time and connect only after 10.30 still and will disconnect before 1. still I got around 1500.. this time I din pay the bill. I told to the agent clearly that I wont pay the bill.. the agent initially din accept their fault and he blamed me.
When I strongly opposed him he gradually accepted its their fault and they are facing so many complaints with the same issue.. then he somehow cleared my due and asked me to pay only 499+tax..then the agent recommended me to take 849 plan(night 10 GB morning 1 GB per month) I accepted it and took the plan, for the first month I got the clear bill 849+tax, then the second month as I upgraded my plan they upgraded their "cheating" plan I got bill around 2500. I am tired of arguing every time with the agents, i paid the bill and terminated my connection. I should have done it long back. I don’t recommend Reliance to my friends, enemies, stranger any one in this world.
Try any other network am sure u will not be as disappointed as a Reliance customer.
