I would like to share my experience and feedback about my last 2 purchases from the Reliance Digital Store, located in 9th Cross road in J P Nagar, Bangalore.
My First Purchase: SAMSUNG LED 32 TV: worth RS: 42000
I bought an Samsung LED TV in April, during the World Cup on 12th March(SAT). It was promised that they will deliver by next day by 12:00, but finally it was delivered on Monday and installation could happen only on Tuesday. During this time I had to call N number of times to the store/Driver etc and no time I got any clear information. It was very frustrating and unpleasant experience. Since it was world cup time so I somehow forgave the same.
But I decided that I will not buy anything again from this store. But I got the coupons in scratch card so I was still happy and I did my next purchase of Samsung WAVE-2- Rs 17000*
Since I liked the store in comparison to E-Zone, Girias etc, so I gave my preference to this store in future but to be cautious with the store from delivery point of view.
My next purchase: Panasonic 42 Plasma TV: RS: 40000
I decided to go for my second bigger TV and I almost decided to go for other stores due to my previous experiences, at the last moment I thought to check the prices again in the Reliance Digital, I liked the price and the clarification given to me for my queries. So I decided to buy AGAIN from this store.
This was again SAT, 4th June, and I specifically ask the sales person when they can deliver the TV.
Sales Person (Srinivas-9035472339) committed : Sunday 3:00 PM
Other sale person committed maximum by 6:00 PM.
On Sunday when I did not get any traces of delivery by 3:00, I called the store and they told that driver has started and gave me the driver number.
I called the driver to check his location , he told he is in City Market and another 1 hour he will be in my apartment at Bannerghatta road, OK accepted.
From 5:00 PM onwards, every time it was “will reach in 10 mins” statements and till 9 :00 PM on the Sunday night, no delivery, I was highly frustrated , I called store, after so many attempts they picked up the phone but no clear information on the status of my delivery.
By 9:30 I decided to cancel the order, I called Srinivas and told the same, he told OK, you come to store and settle.(this is what I got after waiting for 2 days.)
Height of lie was that when I called at 9:00 to the store, someone told me that driver is at my apartment gate.
Finally Driver called at 11:30 PM in the night , so I did not take delivery.
Monday morning, someone from store called around noon time that delivery will happen by 5:30, till late 9:00 PM , no delivery. I decided to cancel the order and went to store, Senior manager Joy Suneel attended to me, I was very much firm on canceling the order, but he asked to give one more chance. I AGREED.
But my trust with Reliance Digital is no longer there and the kind of pain and trauma I faced for 2 days, I should have happy feeling after spending Rs 40000. I should feel good enough to come to the store again and refer to the other friends as well, but unfortunately this is not the case.
I have given you sale of around 1 Lakh in just 2 months and I deserve a better treatment in your store.
PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY AND IMPROVE YOUR DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.EDUCATE YOUR SALESMANS ON WHAT TO COMMIT AND WHAT NOT.*
