I am not the kind of person, who would generally pen down his views like this, unless pissed off really. I’ve been a reliance customer for 5 months now (and before that have had experience with orange and airtel). Given my personal experience I would not recommend reliance india mobile to any one. I am the kind of customer who gives them business in 5k-10k INR per month, and every 15 days they withdraw the STD and ISD services, on the grounds of bill payment.
I should tell you that the billing system of reliance is sluggish, pathetic and non-withstanding. They don’t register payments, they can disconnect your services any time for any reason without informing them, they’re themselves not clear about their policies and changes.
The customer service executives are rude, and today I stay disconnected ex Mumbai, because Reliance India Mobile, didn’t register the bill that I paid on 8th of March in one of the web world, and believe me no jokes I called them 10 times in two days to give them the same information (about my credit card, place, mode of payment, my address, my phone number, the size of my undies) and request them for the activation, being told every time that the service would be re-activated in three hours and those three hours have been endlessly extending every time I call up *333, don’t rely ever on reliance for mission critical deals, it might betray you any time.
Finally I realized that there is really nothing which reliance really can do about their service, I prayed to god and am going to sleep in some time... to add this is not the first time this is happening with me, this is the fourth time, and more, every 4th day I receive an SMS asking bheeek (alms) for excess usage, they’re not even ready to take deposits and neither any commitments to keep me away from STD/ISD disconnections. I have to carry a pre-paid card with me always for emergencies resulting due to work or business..
Reliance to me looks like a business of marwarees, running just to capture customers by hook and crook and captivate them through its lousy commitment policies.. Their funda is simple make money.
