I opted for reliance mobile CDMA as my father told me it is one of the best service provider, and now he is not using in the village. Since August 2011 I am facing regular unauthorized deduction from my pre-paid re-charge amount. Every time I call customer care and then they will reverse it. I have done this countless times. But I never faced it in first 5 years of usage. Reliance communication is desperately minting money by deductions without knowledge of customers and without their consent.
My point is most users of Reliance is from rural areas and I doubt whether these folks are competent enough to know customer care and about reversals. Recently I was on bus to my village in South Kerala, when I saw a farmer got message saying a voice chat deduction has been activated at Rs.2 per minute and a total subscription fee of Rs.80/- has been deducted without the knowledge of this poor farmer who was wearing torn hawaii chappal.
The farmer can’t understand English, when I enquired further I was told by the farmer that he has charged for Rs.150/- and all of a sudden I pinged and got the message that the amount in his account is just Rs. 42/-. The farmer knows only Malayalam and he can’t read or write English. Anil Ambani’s group is taking advantage of this and robbing poor folks.
It’s a sad story that Reliance communication is squeezing poor rural folks to mint money knowing the fact that rural folks don’t understand English. It’s unfortunate that this is done under chairmanship of Anil Ambani who has foreign management degrees and leading a big conglomerate of reliance group break-away
The irony is why poor folks are targeted by Reliance communication who can’t understand English SMS es?
I therefore condemn this Reliance communication for Un-authorized deductions they are making without customer’s knowledge forget about consent. I DO NOT recommend Reliance communications (all services) to anyone as they are cheating even the poorest of the poor. Shame on Anil Ambani and his Foreign degrees which are used to loot poorest of the poor !
