I am Ankit Patni from Bangalore. I am facing problem with wrongly
generated bills from last 4 months. I was not getting hard copy of bill
in my hand regarding this I logged my complaint to so many customer
care executives and also given request in reliance web world. But the
problem is not resolved. Web World peoples and customer care executives
say that you’ll get your bill copy on your mailbox. It looks like for
each month you have to call them for the bill. Whenever you go and ask
web world executives for a bill copy they always say, “Sir, Server is
down”. I don’t know where they putted their server and why they are not
coming up with a proper infrastructure and servers. I faced this at
almost all the web worlds in Koramangala, K.H.Road, Brigade Road, BTM,
Jayanagar, Indiranagar. Attitude of reliance executives is also not
good, they think that they are Ambani’s and we are begging in front of
them.
I
got the copy of my bills after the payment. I was surprised that I was
charged with some wrong amounts and facilities, which I had not used.
They charged were charging roaming charges of Rs.25 per month from last
4 months. I didn’t went out of Karnataka in last 4 months and never
asked them for the roaming facility. After a long debate with
executives I approach one of the senior executive she told me that we
are sorry Mr. Patni we had wrongly charged that amount and this we will
credit in your next bill means in December’06 month bill.
After
one week I got one sms from my Reliance, that your total usage is
Rs.3300 kindly pay the bill to continue the service, and next day they
discontinued my outgoing facility. I was not able to call customer
care, so I called them from PCO. Again I’d wasted a lot of time with
customer care executive and ask them to check again but they usually
said, “Sir server is down”. After 3 hrs my outgoing is automatically
started, I don’t know how? I don’t know if server is down then how can
the problem solved itself?
Again
next day I talk with executive regarding my unbilled amount she told
its Rs.1760. I was stunned and fight with executive as well as seniors
but they disconnected the call.
After
lots of try I got the reliance top peoples email address and I shoot a
mail to them with my full story. After that seniors come in the action
and start sending me reply, but the biggest shock I got when I saw my
bill on their website, its Rs.1760. They charged Rs.1150 for sms usage
even I am having sms pack for free reliance-to-reliance sms in all over
India. For this when I approach to executive he told that you had sent
some sms so you have to pay the charges but when I ask the details of
my sms they were blank and start putting the things here and there but
after some time when they were unable to handle the situation they told
that “sorry sir server is down because of some maintenance work is
going on kindly try in evening”
Then
I send this problem to the senior people through email then after some
more telephonic conversation they accepted that mistake is happened
from there end and they send me a mail and came up with a new bill
amount of Rs.382. Its amazing, how they came on Rs.382 from Rs.3300.
When I asked the breakups of Rs.382 they called me and said that they
are unable to give me the details, but they will send me apology mail
in this regards. My monthly plan is NJP124 of Rs.124 and with on sms
pack of Rs.25 and taxes, so I wanted to know how it’s still going to
Rs.382. For the details they said that Rs.1150 for sms is waved off and
Rs.111.67 is credited for National Roaming Charges. Its difficult to
understand the breakups and I am not sure are they going to give me the
tax amount back which I had paid on wrong amount.
I
am totally fed up with reliance and I am having no option with me, I
can’t stop this number. They are charging 12.24% service tax and on the
name of service what they are giving to their customer. If they do
mistake they easily says that we will credit the amount back in your
account and next time it won’t happen to you. And if the customer get
late by a single day due to any unavoidable circumstance they charge
him with late payment fee.
I
putted this instance on blogger so more people can get aware with the
billing issues of mobile service providers. There are lots of people
who even don’t see the inner pages of the bill copy they just pay the
amount, which is printed on the top page. I wanted to tell them just
see your bills properly to know how you are charged. Just go through
all the pages of your mobile or credit card bills.
