The Reload album has 13 songs - it starts out with the speed metal song Fuel. All the remaining songs are slow and really hard!!
The album should be listened to as a whole and not as individual songs - sounds much better that way since there is a kind of continuity!!
I cannot explain it but there is a kind of difference between this album and the traditional Metallica albums of the 80s. The songs are much more hummable and stay in your head for a longer period of time.
My personal favourites in this album are ’’The Devil’s Dance’’, ’’Unforgiven 2’’ and ’’Better Than You’’
All in all, a very good, unique album - with a definite stamp of Metallica!!
I remember when I bought this album - I couldn’t stop listening to it - once you get in tune with the album - you’ll be hooked on!!
