Sensuous lips should be nearly naked!

I think makeup is a very personal thing. The same product can work differently on several different women. Skin type, skin colour, eye colour, hair colour, and a woman’s unique facial contours all have an effect on which cosmetics one should choose. I think my eyes are my best facial feature, so I tend to play them up with liquid eyeliner and a muted brown eye shadow just at the eyelid crease. I have long black lashes, so I usually skip mascara unless it is a special occasion.

I have tried many lipsticks in so many different shades. I wind up giving them away or putting them in a junk drawer. I have had professional colour consultations and chosen colours for myself that look great in the store, but when I get home I am tired of it already. I also think that some women wear too bright of a lip colour and it makes them look a bit shocking. Make up should enhance the features a woman already possesses, not try and create something she does not. I have tried all of the Colorstay lipstick formulas over the years and always have the same problem. The formula stays on, but it dries out my lips. Even the more neutral colours look phony on me. Also, the lipsticks that revlon produces such as Moon drops or Skinlights come off whenever I take a drink, eat something, or kiss my husband. I think my lips are reddish coloured enough naturally that I do not need to wear a lip colour. I prefer Blistex lip conditioning balm in the peach jar. It leaves my lips so soft they feel like velvet. On other occasions I use Lipslicks lipgloss in Pearlygirl. It is a sheer wash of pearlescence with no colour. It just makes your lips look beautiful and moist without masking lips’ natural hue. So, I think sensuous lips should be nearly naked. Getting lipcolour on your man can kill the moment. Plus, it is too much of a pain to have dry flaky lips with some unnatural colour painted on all day. Just my opinion
