How I wish this movie was original. They could have atleast given the due credit to the original movie. Yes, ROBOT the movie has been shamelessly copied frame by frame from 1987 hollywood movie Making Mr.right. Well if you don’t believe it then you can wiki it yourself or better watch the 1987 flick. I have watched it and for that time it was a decent flick if not great.
The Shankar team took the main story added a few tamil masala, songs and abra-ca-dabra we have a another replica of another Hollywood movie.
For a minute let us assume that it is not a copy even then story at best is not great since a robot falling in love and then turning evil has been repeated before in many hollywood flicks with different twisted plots like bi-centinnal man and I, ROBOT etc.
The acting of Rajni leaves much to be desired for especially when he becomes evil, it is as if he has over acted all the time. Could have kept it subtle.
Aishwarya anyway was meant to be a "Doll" and I was surprised that she had a few dialogues in the movie too.ha ha ha.
The graphics and animatronics used is the original thing in this movie since everything else is a copy.
