Q: How desperate can two have-been actors become?
A: Watch this movie.
In this non-sense of a movie, chan and tucker team up again after 6 yrs .This time around they have also brought in a bunch of non-existent scriptwriters with them and a director who must have been on vacation in Hawaii during the shooting and instead left a TV on with the DVD’s of previous rush hour movies and all the other movies of buddy cop genre.
This movie doesn’t have a plot so as to say instead it has some set pieces which make up the 90 minutes of self-inflicted torture For example: there is a girl who needs to be saved, a guy who wants to kill that girl, a guy who protects the girl who needs to be saved, a guy who helps the guy who needs to kill that girl, Chinese people all over Paris as if it is Beijing and a confounding cameo by Director Roman Polanski as a French police official who performs a full cavity search on the ever bickering couple.
Jackie Bhai has grown old and his building jumping stunts have become stale now, it used to be fun once upon a time but there is a expiry date for everything.
Tucker Bhai provides 90 mins of ear-shattering shrieking humorless jokes.( ok maybe on 1 or 2 jokes I smiled) . He returns on silver screen after 6yrs i.e his previous release was rush hour 2 that speaks for itself.
Ok so what about other characters in the movie:
Well there is a Chinese baddie who might have been a failed theater actor in china.
There is a UGLY woman who plays the "love interest " or whatever for tucker bhaisaab and I really mean she is ugly.I couldn’t even bear to see her.
Then there is a Chinese girl who looks somewhat good and doesn’t have much role( Thank God)
And a Guy who acts as the surprise "twist" which you can most probably guess in the first 10mins of the movie, and if you didn’t guess that surprise "twist" in the movie, in all probability you are gonna like this movie.
I would recommend you to NOT watch this movie even on your computer if you get it for free leave alone spending money to rent it, Instead let’s urge Brett Ratner not to make any more of these sequels on the general principles of humanity.
The only thing worse than watching this boring movie is writing about it.:D
