With the risk of sounding really cliche...RIP.. is megadeths’s BEST..in my personal view.. the best thing about megadeth is that the just dont sing about bad childhoods, suicide, depression and slutty mothers...this is a responsible band like say .. sepultura.. which will talk about issues.. now... lets have a more formal intro here for the newbies
RUST IN PEACE.. is the biggest and the most popular album by megadeth.. with dave mustaine doing vocals.. now this guy is freakin gifted.. he is nt like one of those guys who depends on those grandiose baritone to make an impact.. this guy’s vocals are unique.. mebbe thats why local bands find it hard tp play their covers..now this album has classic stuff like
tornado of souls, polaris, hangar18, take no prisoners, lucretia..
now each of them has this patented killer into riff..
any rock show.. any pub...
i have heard of people who hav become life long followers of megadeth after jsut this one album.. pure genius.. if you like this one.. I would also reccomend.. youthanasia.... good album.. but about this one ...RIP-rocks... I would be glad to go to the grave... headbangin to polaris..:)
a special mention marty friedman’s solos... will make you kiss the soil he walks on..all in all this is one of those kind of albums that bands only dream of making atleast once in their entire lifetime... im sure.. even megadeth cannot better this.. this is their best...
