There are two types of clothes freaks in this world; the kind who have taste, style and a knack for finding gems in pigsties, and the kind who are like me ? incapable of recognizing elegant clothing even when it hits them in the face (as it frequently does in places like Big Bazaar, where diamond encrusted aunties scrabble in the depths of the 100 rupee kurta bin as if their lives depend on it). This sartorial blind spot of mine means that I scrupulously avoid shopping in quaint little shops and hit the malls instead when I need ? or want ? new clothes (which is pretty much every Saturday). Shopping in malls means that there is loads of variety and everything is more or less fashionable.
More importantly, malls stock clothes in all sizes and this is very important for someone who takes nothing less than an ?extra large? (why do clothes sizes always follow the Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Extra Extra Large, Triple Extra Large, You-Gotta-be-Kidding-Me pattern? Why not Voluptuous, Rounded, Huggable, Medium and Go-Shop-in-the-Kids-Section?).
