This champ was borned in Mumbai, on 24th aipril, 1973.
From his early days his ambition was to be the best in the world.
He has achieved that, and wow in a sensational manner.
When he was young, 12 years old he was playing his first match.
His team needed 3 runs of 2 balls, he was batting at fifth down in that match. Everyone thought he could do nothing, being so petite
The opponents thought they have won it, but Sachin had different ideas. He pulled the ball into the stands of the first ball he faced.
But now when he comes to batting, holding that 3 pound deadly bat, every baller knows he has his work cut out.
He is truly, the best player in the game today.
He was the one who took Indian cricket to this far, when Kapil and many other legends of our country retired.
He can be remembered for his innumerous brilliant knocks.
But my favorite one is mentioned below-

McGRATH WAS BOWLING IMPECCABLE MAIDENS.WHEN THE LITTLE CHAMP ARRIVED HE HAD HIS BACK TO THE WALL. THEN HE TOOK A BOLD DECISION, HE DECIDED TO CUT LOOSE AND TOOK THE ATTACK TO THE AUSTALIANS.
HE SCORED 90 RUNS OF 84 BALLS INCLUDING 14 FOURS AND A HUGE SIX.
THAT DAY ALSO HE MADE INDIA GET THE VICTORY.
But it was not the first time that he made his team won a needed match.
When he was 16 years old he was playing a match against Pakistan against India A, Abdul kadhir was one of the best spinners of those days and he was on a hat-trick, sachin was facing him and he clovered him for 3 sixes continuously.
Well… INDIA don’t only have sachin as a worldwide superb player, THEY HAVE PLENTY LIKE
GANGULY, LAXMAN, DRAVID, SEHWAG………….
But most of these guys are not very consistent.
‘One day they play like Lions the next day they play like lambs’.
That’s why some times Sachin is left stranded on the crease alone, after a good opening and then gets himself out, insincerely. He has missed many opportunities for his team and teammates.
One of Sachin’s best quality is adaptability, He adapts to foreign conditions very well, but he could not do anything good for his country, at the tour of WEST-INDIES in the test matches.
Some people think that he has run out of fuel now, he just don’t
have the fire power in him now, but I think he is saving his power for the WORLD CUP.
For the West Indies tour, I can say that it was a bad phase for him.
He is also human, he can also, make errors. Something didn’t go well for him in the entire series.
I hope he performs much better in ENGLAND.
And from an overall view lets hope SACHIN makes INDIA win AGAIN and AGAIN and seeing his performance others also start performing regularly.
