Came Late But Came Right

My sister just lost N95-8GB so decided I to get a new mobile for her. While surveying the market I came to know that Samsung has launched new Corby range. As I had Samsung Omnia in past which had a very bad touch I was not really interested in Samsung so I did’nt bothered. I was checking out Nokia 5230, 5800 XpressMusic. While 5230 lacked Wifi it was not good enough for me so I was really looking on 5800 XP.

I went to several shops and checked out 5800 and other phones also. I guy also showed me Sansung Corby Pro(B5310) dummy which I found very elegant and it had a female touch to it also. So I asked about the features and the shopkeeper told me that it has all the features a expensive phone has like: Wifi, AGPS, Bluetooth, 3G, Edge, 3.2 Megapixel Camera, 16 GB expandable memory, Touch screen, Qwerty Keypad and what not. I was really really surprised to see a phone with so many features under 12000.

Upon checking more about the phone I saw some good review but my sad luck the phone was not in stock in whole of Chandigarh and the demand was very high. At this point I decided to go for Samsung once again. After searching for about 6 days it came to a shop and the guy called me to collect the phone.

The phone had a very very smooth touch(not like iphone though but very close). The keypad was also smooth enough to use and 3 different colours of back panels were included with a 2 GB card, data cable, ear phones etc. The only thing which the phone had lacked was the Camera Flash(yes its true the corby does’nt have a flash).

Anyways I still bought the phone for 11, 800 inclusive of all taxes etc. and its working amazing till date. It does’nt hangs, the internet on edge, wifi is working absolutely fine. The phone is very easy to operate and there are 3 different screen on which you can work. The side is good way to manage your apps etc. what you use. And the alphabet key unlock feature is just great.

The camera quality is good and its getting good pictures without flash but if it had a flash then it would have done wonders(oh samsung why you missed it?!). Sis. likes the phone very much and its based on Java platform so the applications, games etc. are endless. You can get a lot of apps, games and what not for your corby from https://getjar.com.

I own a Nokia e-72 right now and sometimes I become jealous of my sis. corby lol at that time I think I should sell my E-72 and get 2 corbies lol. Anyways my E-72 is great too. Jokes apart, I must say that Samsung has done a very good job and they came late but they came right. Hope to see Corby in many more hands. Cheers!
