I am one of the sufferers of this company. I bought a 40 inch LED samsung for 60 thousand rupees....it was like a dream. I was very happy when I bought it.
He gave us 1 year warranty. With in 6 months , led screen showed a dark band in the upper part of display when ever it is switched on and stays for a few min and disappear slowly the band became permanent.I called the samsung service center .the service center person came and told that its a panel problem. He said that it is the main part of the tv and costs about 40 percent of the tv cost. we were shocked, but since the warranty is there he said he will replace it for free.
Later after 6 months again , the tv showed the same problem. I called the service center ... the person came and told that it is the panel problem and asked to replace.... but this time the warranty has expired.......i asked him that the panel has been replaced only 6 months back and asked for a one year warranty.
But he told us that this time v have to buy the panel and it costs 30 thousand he told that the warranty is from the purchase of the television and not from the replacement done......
I dont know what to comment. Such a big brand TV doesnt work after 6 months....panel guarantee is only for 6 month. This is called hitech fraud. Samsung tvs are not worth buying bcoz we spent 6o thousand ... we r still watching the same tv with dark bands on it......what a waste of money.... I will never buy any samsung product again......
