I read the above review on samsung sgh c-100 so I wont really go ahead giving you the feature details , etc but let me cover some more points which the above review
has not covered
1>Excelled UI design: even I was a nokia fan until I came across samsung sgh c-100.You will even find tooltips in this phone.For example when u go to messages
just go through the selection and you will get the no of messages in the inbox, outbox, etc similarily if you go the other menu options like
security you will get a tip ’’disabled’’/enabled when u get the selection on the security option
backlight you will get a tip like ’’off OR 15 secs , etc) when u get the selection on the backlight option
2> There are shortcuts available too like when u go to messages or any other option you will find numeric number shortcuts
associated with each item (1 - inbox 2- outbox , etc) so directtly press the number rather than pressing the down arrow key for that option
3>65000 colors : At the cost 8500 (with bill) you not get 65000 colors in any other model
4>Its software is available free on the net and you can upload loads of pictures/animated images, polyphonic tunes,
and can also send msgs on behalf of the phone from the software using infra red.
5>It has got a huge memory to store 500 phone numbers, 50 messages along with an option of saving any number to phone memory or the
sim memory.
6>The calendar facility and the to do list facility is excellent along with lot of organizer options like the calculator , Currency exchange,
alarm , one time alarm , morning alarm , etc
7>Slim and sleek design.Even sleeker than nokia 8250, though it is slightly more in the length as compared to nokia 8250
8>Games: Contains Java enabled games like bowling and pcman.You can download more games from samsungmobile.com.
7>Just press hash to get in and out of silent mode (rather than selecting the silent profile in nokia)
8> Auto lock which locks the phone in 15 secs (the timing is customizable),
9> Any key answer:If your phone is ringing you can enable pressing of any key to answer the call
10> the up, down, right and left keys can be customized to ’’check your voice mail’’, select the calendar option , or the to do list , or change the
ring tone , etc
11> A lovely collection of wallpapers to choose along with a calendar wallpaper which shows the date and the entire calendar
12> finally the network catching is good too and can be compared to as that of nokia.I was very much skeptical about this when I bought
the cell phone
