I took the sea bird travel bus while travelling from Bangalore to Pondicherry. I boarded the bus from Koromangala 8th block .
The bus is never in time as mentioned by many of our reviewers, it rreached 30 minutes late. The trip was ok but as soon as it crossed bangalore and landed on the road to Pondicherry the bus started drifting. We were seated on a seater no 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 . Now you can understand these are the first seats for seating section. This falls on the second half of the bus the first half are all sleeper section.
The driver was least bothered about the passenger he kept on speeding in such a bad road condition - I presume he was driving above 120-130km/hr.
He drove as he if there is NO PASSENGER and he was playing SPEED-10. I bet if anyone in the seating section could have slept for even 5 minutes. Jerks which were after every 3 minutes could really take on you and your back. I had to take the next day off to recover from back pain.
I thought its one drivers attitude but to my horror the return bus from Pondicherry to Bangalore also behaved the same. There were other buses from KPN travels etc they were driving slow but this arrogant dumb head sea bird driver was least bothered about safety of the passenger.
IF YOU WANT TO REACH HOME SAFE - DON’T OPT for SEA-BIRD.
