Saturday evening , I did not really wanted to struggle for a ticket at a movie hall so decided to watch movie at home. The visit to Video library bring me to a realization that I have not been upto date with so many movies released and I am behind. The Sehar promos had left some good feel about themselves and I preferred this over the other options like My Wife’s Murder and Yahan .. Probably should have spent time on mouthshut resarching earlier but I was happy at my pick.
Watching Sehar with my family just before the dinner time thinking that we would take a break in between for the dinner was a bad idea as everyone was so engrossed once the movie started , not because there was some suspense involved but just the way the movie kept everyone’s interest involved and from the begining till the very end everything sounds very realistic.
The star cast : Arshad , the guy definately has potential to capture audience and matched to the role demand very well. From Munna Bhai to Sehar the roles are so widely different but he has capacity to meet all ends. Besides Sehar shows he can carry a movie just on his own in the lead role. Mahima suited the role well with requiring to speak really less in the movie. Pankaj Kapur fits the Telecom expert role just right and his dialogue delivery as always is flawless.
The subte humor in the movie in the middle helps the cause. The best part about the movie was at places so many things were expressed without anybody saying anything makes a real difference and leaves a bigger impact.
For those who have not seen the movie , I dont want to decribe the movie and spoil their taste here but should tell here that this movie based on UP mafia amd how they are so much part of the system, and difficlty faced by sincere police officials in really getting a right solution to handle such situations.
The fight sequences looks very realistic and made sense at all times.
I still feel that movie did not get as much popularity as it should have, but nevertheless its a must watch and preferably on a big screen if its still available.
