I bought the Philips portable emergency light with order number 5044479 from fake site shopclues.com at Rs 1650
It is not at all emergency light but description shows it as emergency light. It is just a light with battery backup as Manufacture manual described.
In the product special feature it is written that “High Efficiency Lithium Ion Battery and LED Light Source, Dual Power with Auto-switch Over Features, 5 hrs Auto Charge with 3 to 6 hrs Backup, Two Lighting Levels, Synthetic Material, Portable and Standable Emergency LED Batten, 0.07 Power Consumption”.
Please note that there is NO Auto Switch over feature as Manufacture manual described. You have manually on the switch. I mean if switch is on , power fail or available it will not automatically switch off the light when power resume and you have to manually switch off the light..
I logged a return request under Significantly different from the description given by the merchant. But shopclues told me that it is right product and they will not take it return back.
Finally they made me fool and I lost Rs1650.
Also while call, they said that this is warranty product and it there is defect in it then you have to contact manufacturer. It means shopclues can deliver SCRAP and you have to go to service center to get it correct and shopclues will not taken back the SCRAP.
If the reader of the article planning to buy anything from Shopclues please note the sale is final and whatever scrap you will receive it is your LUCK further issue:
They sent me wrong product. They take it back through Reverse pickup which is done with Red express waybill number 00400919 and already received on 02/Aug/2013 at your office. Check the tracking detail in Red express
Today is 9th aug, I did not get money back, it seems Shopclues are not ready to refund my Rs 1650, so I assume shopclues make me fool and they are online fraud.
