when nans ( firstautumn to you guys ) suggested that we meet up at shoppers stop for the evening, I , like, thought, what the hell, spend an evening at a shopping mall, and specially when you are broke ?
but pardon the cliche, it was a ’ great experience ’.
the cosmetics div is the best yet. the girls there actually make you feel like they want you to try all the glorious and not so glorious shades of lipsticks. and that girl in the perfume dept, specially the girl who spritz’ opium on you at your every bidding.. I could go back to that place just to talk to her again.
i must tell you about the sunglasses dept. apart from it having this very cute guy in the counter, they actually give you great tips on how , and which pair of shades look good on you. and then, they rustle up exactly what you want at the price you want.
and the lingerie dept is pure heaven. ah, I could have put down tent there. so much of lace ... wow man.
must tell you about the tantra t shirts. fell in love with their logos. ’horny ok please ’, mental inside, many more.
wanted to buy it all out.
my next love out there is the home furnishings section. the checks, the fabrics, every imaginable combination. cushion covers, pillow cases, sheets, towels, rugs, name it , it is there.
the home section is in itself marvellous. from coffee mugs, to percolators to aromatic candles.
and then eventually the clothes, .....nirvana. specially the mix and match. fabrics, style, cut, price range, labels, you name it, they have it. lose your self man.
the bookshop is naturally the best place on earth. they have all the latest best sellers on display and raring to be browsed through.
but do not leave without the coffee and the cakes
