This is the my lone worst experience I ever had online shopping. Earlier I always used to do online shopping at flipkart, homeshop18 , ebay all my experience with them was always either great if not wow. I was amazed at the customer service you receive from flipkart and even ebay, they even don’t pay the vendors until the customer acknowledges the product received on time and in shape, on the contrary I thought Indiatimes shopping must be similar to these shopping sites... only to get shocks after shocks.

1) I did a credit card payment on 10th may and bank confirmed the payment was cleared on 11th may, even on 13th may the order status showed "payment not recieved"
2) spoke to a chat rep Vishal ( agarwal.100) who said he raised a case number 858032 which would be resolved in 9 days , so now my estimated time of getting the product raised from 4 days to 9 + 2 days =13 days
3) unfortunately I purchased this product ( mobile phone) to gift it to my wife on her birthday which is 7 days from today, since my Estimated times looks way beyond required I politely ask the rep for a manager the rep refused and hung up on me.
4) called the service desk via phone , the rep who spoke again refused to allow me to speak to a manager , all the reps have same standard sentence , there are no managers on the floor currently , no matter what time you call , how many times you call.
5) Out of frustration I requested for the order to be cancelled, now they can’t cancel the order until payment is received and once the payment is received they will take 10 days to refund back to my Credit card account. 9 days for confirmation of payment + 10 days for refund = net 19 working days (almost a calender month) for choosing a wrong shopping channel.
So far only fake assurances that we are looking into it, concerned department will call back, I will expedite same old statements of clueless reps for buying time. Wasted a whole working day running behind them for not even fault of mine payment is made but their systems have some issues, I could have simply picked the product from a local store, on even flipkart :(
