I subscribed for 64Kbs Flexi-Plan (one of the first to join up from the lokhandwalla area)
Wow! What a waste of time and money that was!
My dialup was three times faster than the DSL line.
Also dig this:
Under the flexi-plan, if you were out on a holiday and came back on the last day of the month and used the DSL line for two hours, you would be billed 524/+ taxes thats over Rs 250/hour!!!!
Can anything beat this???
DSL charges a flat monthly fee of 500 under its 64kbs flexi plan and gives you one hour free everyday. You dont use it, it does not get carried forward. The next day if you use one hour and one minute, you will be billed Rs 24 + taxes for that one minute.. It sucks big time.
I sent them letter stating that I wish to stop using their services. - No effect the bills just kept comming so I stopped paying but lost the ’’deposit’’ (rs 10000/- back then)
My advise: Do not even enquire about DSL
