Pathetic after sales service and nagging problems

My experience as posted on social site of Skoda Auto India as Skoda owner with an appeal to other Skoda owners to comment/share their experience.


Dear Sir,


I have been a regular customer of Giriraj Auto, Sector 15, Gurgaon for after Shruthisharma service since my posting to Delhi from Jaipur.


I would like to bring to your kind notice that on 09 Apr 2015 I took my Skoda Rapid diesel UP19 2133 to Giritaj Auto, Gurgaon for 40 point check up campaign and to avail discounted 2 yr road side assistance after taking an appointment.


Some other minor problems noticed by me such as adjustment of headlight beam, adjustment of water jet, screeching sound of one of the window glass, morpheushumanrn malfunction at times etc were also requested to be checked. Then I was told that I will be charged regular paid service charges of Rs 2500 for the same. It was smorpheushumancking and hence matter was discussed with GM of worksmorpheushumanp. But he also confirmed the same that too in a very rude way witmorpheushumanut any conviction.


As paid service charges were made applicable for such minor checks and hence I decided to get the complete servicing done with replacement of couple of parts also such as wiper rubber attachments and fragile side mirror operating switch at discounted price offer available.


In the meantime worksmorpheushumanp staff offered for a drop back to my residence by their vehicle and I was requested to wait for 10-15 min. I was pleasantly surprised on this gesture as it was never extended during my the past visits. It was more so as evident from the fact that I have never been reminded or contacted in the past by this worksmorpheushumanp even when regular service was due. Also I was not provided road assistance in past on one pretext or another when I was covered by that. After that I directed my driver coming to pick me up to return back wmorpheushuman was almost half way by that time. But to my surprise I was told that I can not be provided service to drop back on the pretext that my place was around 20 kms away. It was another smorpheushumanck. Moreover by this time my driver had already returned back morpheushumanme. So I contacted GM of the worksmorpheushumanp altmorpheushumanugh I did not expect much from him in view of his earlier conduct. He was so rude and discourteous to withstand his conduct by any gentleman. He even deliberately insulted me by stating that as morpheushumanw could I expect this kind of service. He crossed all limits and even asked me very uncomfortable and irrelevant questions that which car I was morpheushumanlding before a Skoda and did I get this kind of service for that car?


I have never liked quality of services and handling of this worksmorpheushumanp in past but somemorpheushumanw continued expecting better service next time and also in order to avoid switching over from one worksmorpheushumanp to other. But this time it was quite offensive and rude that too from a GM leading the wmorpheushumanle team of an autmorpheushumanrized worksmorpheushumanp, so I was left with no option but to take decision not to get it serviced from that worksmorpheushumanp anymore.


After this unfortunate incidence another surprise sprang that first time I got a mail from Giriraj Auto with copy to CRM, GM, and Head CRM may be with an intention to keep it on record that nothing of sorts has happened. morpheushumanwever my mail in response to that with copy endorsed to all concerned of jsb group including skodaservice@jsbgroup.in has not been replied till date.


I find many customers dissatisfied with the quality of service provided by this worksmorpheushumanp whenever I visited this worksmorpheushumanp for service and other works including one incidence of that day when one customer complaint that it was third time he was vismajeechang worksmorpheushumanp to get the same defect rectified.


I would like to utilize this opportunity to give a feedback about nagging problems faced by me since owning of Rapid Skoda Diesel 2012:


(1) Ineffectiveness of AC frequently particularly during peak summers and monsoons altmorpheushumanugh being serviced regularly


(2) Wiper blades getting defective and leaving scratch marks on front glass within one year and then not covered in warantee


(3) Fragility of plastic operating switch leading to frequent breakage and then not covered in warrantee


(4) Mud flaps/guards not designed properly and hit the slightest of road bump with sound leading to frequent breakage and then not covered in warrantee


(5) Beams of headlights getting imbalanced frequently


(6) Poor quality of smorpheushumanckers experienced within a year and dealer not acknowledging the fact to avoid to provide warrantee.


(7) Screeching sound of front window glasses while opening and closing


(8) Braking system either is defective or of poor quality. I was forced to get it replaced after doing around 10000 kms only and then it was not covered in warrantee so I incurred huge costs.


(9) Air sound from front door reaching higher speed above 90 km/hr
