My first experience with snapdeal ( 13Oct 2012 ). bought Android tab Penta IS709C. Tab is awesome.
How I rate: I heard bad review from some people on facebook, still I didn’t care without trying myself because it many times depends upon the type of user and their understanding, experience for online shopping.
Pros:
Nice customer support. They were never lazy/ignorant to call me on any issue I had.
Product delivered on time.
Cons:
I was stuck at payment page for more than 15-20 minutes, suddenly an executive called me and suggested that he can make COD (cash on delivery) for me. I asked why should he do that, I am the one to decide whether I should buy or not. But he convinced because of proper information. As the item can be canceled anytime so nothing to worry. Still such interruptions produce negative impact on users, especially the new users.
There is no rating system against product and vendors.
However this one is against the vendor (Penta) not snapdeal. They mention CPU 1.2GHz and GPU Mali 400. Both are incorrect. CPU is 1GHz and GPU is Vivante GC800 core. Please snapdeal rectify that specification, because people will finally blame you not Penta. Be hard on Vendors regarding SPECIFICATIONS they mention. This is cheating by vendors and against law. Even a * cannot save from lawsuits.
All I feel is snapdeal must be working hard to provide quality service after increasing negative rating form people. You are welcome to shop with snapdeal, I don’t know about future but at present they are doing well.
