Snapdeal loosing its charm: High price Bad Service

Well to start with, I am a regular online shopper. Snapdeal was one of my favorites  till my recent purchase. Recently I ordered a Voltas AC on 24th Apr. Order number was 12970355971. I compared the price of product with other sites. Shopclues gave the lowest price at 25500/-(approx. including, delivery). But I am not a big fan of shopclues because of quality of products and shipping etc. On Snapdeal it was 27100/-. To add here, Snapdeal was showing delivery estimate between 26th Apr to 28th Apr.


I ordered the product and checked with Snapdeal customer service that delivery expected date is 26th to 28th Apr. Will they be able to deliver it? They said yes, stock of this product is available. Status showed order placed, product with courier service on 25th itself. I was happy then came the real trouble. Till 29th Apr, no real status, no product. I started tracking with courier, but most of times Vucan surface courier phone number as well as their website status was not correct. Called Snapdeal and they said its already dispatched, courier person will deliver it today. Same status on 30th also. Same time pass messages from Snapdeal even on first.


Another stuff: On voltas website, a service reuest was generated on 25th to install and register this product in my name & I was not even knowing if I am getting product it self or not.


On 2nd May morning, I get a message from snaldeal that product delivery is delayed and product may get delivered by 5th May or 6th May.


Finally called Snapdeal again furiously and got a message that product is in my city only but due to local courier problem its not getting delivered. We are sorry and We are trying" . I mentioned them to cancel the product on which Snapdeal executive said " Sir you can deny the delivery as its COD order and hence we will initiate cancellation after that" I told its a big waste of time for me, I wasted 9 days waiting for your product. Finally after calls to courier as well as Snapdeal, finally product got delivered.


I wrote a review on Snapdeal regarding this issue and they didn’t even publish it saying that its not about product so we are not publishing it


Then After delivary got a call from Snapdeal about installation number details and customer care girl gave me Snapdeal Sellet customer care number instead of Voltas number. This was another shocker


At least product was fine.no complaints about product
