You’re probably reading this review after having seen so many sugar coated reviews about snapdeal. It really looks like at least half of them are paid reviews.
Here is on that is not. I bought a Fujitsu Laptop from SnapDeal that was delivered to me in a bad shape and without the OS working at all. There was no recovery provided either. Worse yet, there was no support whatsoever from the SnapDeal team and they were just playing the delay tactics.
I finally did get me issues resolved after a month of chasing but I would say it was a struggle. And the experience could have been much worse had I not been a little tech-savy.
Further, there cashback program is fake. They give some useless coupons instead of refunding the money to your credit card. Completely unacceptable. This website is the reason why Online retail is not trustworthy in India. I would definitely recommend using Flipkart (or even Myntra) for more peace of mind. The few hundred rupees discount SnapDeal offers as compared to the rest is not worth it.
