I bought a set of imitation jewellery worth rs. 899 from snapdeal.com. I had given COD option. When I received the jewellery I found out that the necklace is broken into half and the earring is missing a stone.
I immediately called Snapdeal, call center....after 20mins of trying it got through. The executive Pradeep gave me a complaint number 162671 and assured me that in the next 5-7 days I will get a courier guy for reverse pickup and that I will receive a fresh piece.
This is the story of 14th nov 2011 monday. I havent yet even got a call from snapdeal regarding this and also they havent even arranged for a reverse pickup. I am totally angry and frustrated. I was thinking that atleast snapdeal will be good after having a similar disastrous experience with yebhi.com. But all are the same, when I call I have to keep narrating my story to different call centre exectuives as if I dont have anything good to do in my life X-( Yesterday when I spoke to the executive hes so neutral as if nothing wrong is happening here. I mean its been more than 10 days now that I have lodged a complaint and nothing happens.
I lodged a complaint on consumercomplaints.com as well, but these people are so shameless that they didnt even show the odacity to reply back to me with any assurance. My money is gone, the product is useless and to top it all I have to bear the incapable executives as well. Yesterdays call, that executive had the courage to say that I can send the product myself to snapdeal.com and that they will refund me the amount. For a product worth 899 I have already spent money to call them and now I have to send it back to snapdeal as if it is my responsibility........Why do they write assurance words in their website when they cannot even send proper products. And then I will have to call 100 times to these shameless people to refund my money. I mean, do I look like a fool to do that. I hope snapdeal.com people read this and understand their respons
