I bought this phone about a week back after reading many reviews on the internet. I was about to buy a Samsing D500 about 2 months back but dropped the idea since it does not have additional memory card support. I will say that I am very happy that I did not buy the Samsung D500.
GREAT LOOKS
The phone is of black colour with an excellent screen. It looks awesome. It weighs only about 100 gms which is simply superb for a phone with so many features
PHONE OR A CAMERA OR MP3 PLAYER
The Phone features a 2.0 megapixels camera which gives great clarity pictures even in the night. It also features a bright light at the back for help during night times. The video and still picture quality make me feel that it is a Digital Camera and not am mobile phone. Then I use the MP3 player and get confused.
The MP3 player is very good just as good as a stand alone one. The sound does not sound great through the speaker phone but once you use the gret Sony Ear Phones provided you will listening through a dedicated MP3 player. Must admit that the Ear Phones are of grat quality and provide crystal clear conversations when talking.
Now lets come to the phone. The menu is a breeze and very easy to use even for the first time user. What strikes you as soon as you see the phone is the excellent display on the 262000 colour TFT screen. It is to be seen to be believed.
The voice quality is quite good and much better than the previos phone that I was using. Even in low reception areas it provides qood clarity. The speaker phone is good but could have been a little better.
The phone has almost all the features that you might want on a mobile except EDGE which is very disappointing since this is quite a new phone.
All in all I would say that it is quite a good phone which is value for money. I believe with the specs that it offers it is much better than any of the Nokia / Samsung phones available. The phone is worth its price for the camera alone.
