I have purchased this phone on or around 11 July 07, till then I am using this phoneI earlier used SE J230i for around 6 months and then I switched over to this phone. Still I have my old J230i with my dad and sometimes listen to FM. You can read the review of that phone in relevant section..
Initially I was looking forward to buy SE W610i, but since it only supports upto 1 GB and no new feature.. I decided to go for this as I wanted this as a mp3 player and camera...
Coming to the point, no specifications only my views on this phone. This phone comes bundled with 512 MB MMC (extendable upto 2 GB) with CD, Data Cable, extra Ear Plugs Cover for headphones. Its pretty descent start without spending more money, like you have to do with Nokia Phones. Sony always has everything included in the box pack, which means, , , , Take it and immediately enjoy it..Same is here, I have not spend on any additional money Memory Card or data cable..
Screen. its pretty good. colours and contrast are pretty bright...i have seen same movies in Nokia 6233 as well as my phone, but the colours and clarity in Sony is simply awesome.. If you watch for some time..you wont miss your small TV. Colours and clarity in the movies are really great...
Sound. Earphones are flawless. no cracking even at full volume. The sound is such that you can feel the music. You wont wonder, if your heart beat changes to the beat of music, its that powerful. You can even hear the lowest music or beat in the music. Simply great....!!!!
Speakerphone. Its good but not that great. I somewhat hear cracking in some songs. It is not even loud enough but one thing I should admit that you can hear every music in speaker phone, which is quite amazing. At night, when there is silence, you wont miss your stereo system, thats for sure...But I still feel my J230i has loud speaker volume than this one..
Megabass is awesome, you can certainly make out the difference...very great.Games. It supports Java games with .jar extensions. It displays these games very well. Infact my friend has a nokia 6233 which also supports java but it does not display games properly, which SE does. I love playing games too..on this phone..
Camera. Pretty good and real life colours. But I have noticed that picture taken indoor seems to be grainy. but outdoor is awesome...Camera button makes you feel as if you have come digi cam... great..I am not able to attach the pics, so links below -

Autofocus is simply great, it works.. If you want to try, , , , take a snap of an article in magazine and you’ll be surprised to see the focussing of letter it does... great
Battery. I think Sony phones are weak on battery as what I feel. I have never used any Nokia phone so cannot compare for battery. This is only my view but it may differ....
Reception. Its descent, never faced problem till date..
Bluetooth. Pretty good. its fast with Sony but a bit slow with nokia.. and best part is that even you receive a call or message, the transfer is not interrupted..may be this is not a feature, but it is helpfull..
The biggest advantage is that you can attach you phone to an amplifier, which works as an MP3 player as well as FM...I have attached it to my iBall 2.1 speakers and thats it, .. I have a full fledged mp3 players.. I really love that..
The positions of keys are pretty good, descent R & D by Sony. Keep it up...
The flaws which I have noticed -
Cracking of speaker phone in some songs at high volume somethings the walkman player plays a noise like glitching noise, so I have to skip or start the track again.. otherwise nothing else.
I will get the same rectified after seven or eight months, because I dont want that bast....d..s to open and screw my phone so early.Summing of my review and final verdict..Good phone for music, games, movies,
