As we all know play station 4 if fourth generation console after play station 3.it has been more than a year since play station 4 has been released. now the question arises that is that is it worth to upgrade from play station 3 to play station 4? inspite of powerful machine and having hardware 10 times more powerful that play station 3 I would not suggest to upgrade from play station 3 to play station 4 now.
The reason behind this is that currently the game library of ps4 is very small. and for playing older ps4 games you would need to wait for those games to be available on psn and you would have to pay for that games you download from psn even if you have cd of those ps3 game. and another thing is that all the ps3 games are very very large and it would need too much time download those and also a very high speed internet.and ps4 game are more costly then ps3 games. and another reason for gamers to upgrade gaming console is that after releasing next gen console companies discontinue to launch game for it previous gen console. but I dont think that sony would discontinue to launch games for ps3 any time soon.
So you would get supply of latest games for ps3 for about one year. we that ps4 is very powerful machine and it also has intense graphics but it also lags while playing games. paying 30 thousand for a gaming console is very much inspite of ps4 at 30 thousand you would ps3 which comes approximately in half of ps4’s price.now lets talk about specification

ps4 come with a dual shock 4 controller which is comparitively larger than ps3’s dual shock 3 controller.
inside ps4 we get single chip processor which the combination of eight x86-64 amd jaguar cpu with 1.84 teraflop gpu based on amd’s radeon technology. it also has 8 gb gddr5 ram and 500 gb mechanical hard drive.
talking about wireless connection, the ps4 uses 802.11 b/g/n for wifi and bluetooth 2.1 for its wireless dual shock 4 controller.
we can also consider ps4 as living room computer more ps3 ever was not for it specification but for its feature. it is also capable of bring games and movies to your homes as well as connecting you to your friends and other gamers
as ps4 has plenty of features it is also very costly. for new gamer who want to choose between ps3 and ps4 I would suggest to buy ps3 because it already has plenty of games to explore and he will be getting newer for almost 1 year. and for who already have ps3 I would suggest to ps4 not now but anytime in feature waiting for price to be dropped and newer games to be released for ps4 to show real capablity of system.
