I have had my sony cordless for over 5 years and it still works as well as the day that I bought it.
It is all black, base and phone. You can call from the base or the phone itself.
The battery life is unreal. I finally had to put a battery in it after all this time and this is the cordless I use most often. It will go almost 3 days without recharging which is the longest I have seen that happen.
It is 900 MHZ, has redial, number memory and easy to operate. The voice in the phone will guide you through setting it up.
It has the time date stamp. The answering machine is great. There are 3 mailboxes so a person can leave a message for up to 3 people. I have no need of that feature as I have several cordless and each person uses a different one.
I have since purchased 2 panasonics, different models and although good they dont beat my sony.
It was under a hundred us dollars and well worth it.
It is also a speakerphone and intercom. Just about anything you need it to do it does.
It is very light weight and very simple to reset if the power goes off.
The reception is as clear as a bell. You can change the volume of talk and hearing on it and change the loudness of the phone ringer itself. It is without a doubt the best phone I have ever bought.
