Soulflower is a leading brand in India, well-known for their wide range of natural and handmade products essential for skin and hair care. Of late, I’ve been experiencing a lot of hair problems like dry hair, split ends, dandruff and hair loss and I was looking for a natural remedy that could help rectify all of these.
When one of my friends suggested me to use Soulflower Cold pressed Castor Oil, I decided to see whether it’d work for me. It’s been almost a month now since I’m using this oil and I’ve been quite happy with the results. I got this product from Amazon for Rs. 250. Delivery was quick and smooth with no issues. This oil is quite thick in consistency and so I normally mix it with an equal amount of coconut oil before applying it on my scalp.
Here, in this review I’m going to list how this product has benefited me in the past one month.
PROS:
i) It comes in a cute looking transparent bottle and the oil has a golden yellow colour.
ii) The oil is naturally rich in anti-oxidants and has healing properties too.
iii) Regular use of this oil has helped replenish the lost oils in my hair due to frequent heating and blow-drying. My hair now looks visibly more manageable and smoother in texture.
iv) It has great moisturizing properties and it has drastically reduced the itchiness of my scalp I experienced due to dryness.
v) This oil has antibacterial properties and it has helped control my dandruff problems to a great extend.
vi) It has helped stimulate new hair growth, especially in areas where I lost more hair.
vii) Now my hair definitely looks a lot more healthier, shinier and thicker with less split ends.
viii) Since this oil has great moisturizing effects, I tried using it on my skin during winter and it did work great for my dry and chapped skin.
ix) Now my eyebrows and eyelashes looks much thicker and longer after regular application of this oil before going to bed.
CONS:
i) There are hardly any cons for this product. Some people may find it a little pricey, but trust me the benefits are a lot more and is worth every penny spent. Moreover, one or two drops of this oil goes a long way. So this 250ml bottle can easily last for at least 3-4 months.
This oil has medicinal properties and has definitely given me amazing results in a short period with regular application. I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a natural and safe way to address any skin or hair related problems.
