After marriage, I decided to resign from my corporate job and instead work as a teacher so that I could balance my personal and professional life. With this in mind, I joined Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools around one year back. However, till today this remains to one of the worst decision I ever took in my life. After having a casual interview with the chairperson of the school, he handed over the signed appointment letter without even bothering to ask me if Id interested to work there or not. Though it looked a bit strange then, since I was totally new to the teaching field, I accepted the offer after discussing the possibilities with my husband and parents.
I joined this school with the hope that I could guide my students towards the right path and help them accomplish their personal and career goals. However, after working there for a couple of days, I realized that the Management and Principal of this institution were only after money and not actually bothered about the future of students. They were even ready to stoop to any level just to impress the parents by giving false marks to the students. Many of the teachers who were already working there told me that they were quite fed up with the way the school management functions and like me they were also looking for the best opportunity to move to a different job.
The entire school building is in such a shabby state with the worst toilet standards. The principal here was nothing less than lady Hitler. Ive never seen such a dominating and bossy lady in my entire life. 99% of the school management belongs to Telangana. Even people who could barely speak a sentence properly in English were given the senior-most positions. Since I did not want to be a part of this unethical and inimical school business, I happily resigned from this job.
A word of caution to all parents who are planning to put their beloved kids in any of the branches of this institution anytime in future. Please take the opinion of other parents, kids or teachers before taking any action. One wrong decision from your end can put the future of your dear child at risk. Remember all that glitters is not gold.
