Services of Standard Chartered Bank, Chennai is commendable in many respects, including its 24x7 branch. But of late, StandardChartered seems to have started a Personal Insurance Service along with Royal Sundaram. Since I also hold a credit card with SCB, one of the SCB sales executives promptly called me up.
I told I do not need that facility now. All high and low flattery, business and sales gimmicks went on for nearly 2 weeks, even after me persistently refusing the same. Once the sales guy directly came to my office with the form. I was quite surprised since it was an unsolicited visit on part of him.
Again that sales girl started to keep calling. Since now, I openly told not to disturb and I am going to escalate the issue as anuisance call, she immediately kept the phone with the big thud.
Is this the way SCB Sales Executives are trained?
