Standard Chartered is one bank which must have maximum complains for its credit card division and its not without reasons. This Bank is very bad in processing requests of Phone banking. The reason is not far behind to be seen. Any reversal of charges which are requested to the bank is done through vouches which are sent to Bangalore for implementation (unlike other banks who do it online) The vouchers get lost and you have Statements with penalties. Once you discontinue the card after settling payments, do not be surprised to receive a Telegram that police action will be taken if payment is not made. They hire agencies to recover their dues. You will have more than three people breathing down your neck for the dues and you have to explain separately. My friend got a call from an agency at 11 PM. Need I say more
